After a year of building and four years in the planning, Whitstable & Seasalter Golf Club’s new Clubhouse has now come to fruition. Directors and President officially took possession from Abbotts Builders two weeks ago and are now fully occupied with furnishings and fittings, licences and notices and all that goes with the up and running of a new build.
A mountain of work has to be done with moving contents from the old existing clubhouse, which has been a good and faithful home to us for the last one hundred plus years. However, time has taken its toll and we are proud to announce that it will be open for business in the New Year and all our very patient members will enjoy the benefits of the long wait, for many years to come.
We are sure it will be a great benefit not only to ourselves but to the town of Whitstable by offering a superb venue to hire for many types of functions with its superb views over the course, and first-class cuisine.
