Members can now see that the structure of the new clubhouse is taking shape and the builders are working steadily to the schedule we have been given. We are still expecting a handover in the Autumn of this year.
You will also have seen that the new 1st/10th tees have been constructed for use by players (we hope ) in April 2019. The temporary putting green that was constructed by our green staff last autumn is being prepared for use at a similar time to the new tee. The contractors will be in filling the tracks to the left of the 1st fairway later in February. We will then have a fully functional course ready for the main season.
Car parking is still an issue as the season approaches, but please think about car sharing or using other forms of transport if possible to come to the club.
The Club is fortunate to have a wonderful set of enthusiastic captains this year, so please support them in this year of change.
